Republic of Bashkortostan temperatures drop below zero
Air temperature in the Republic of Bashkortostan drops below zero, ground frost observed
Ufa, October 13, 2023. /Bashinform/. Ground frost was observed in several regions of the Republic of Bashkortostan on the morning of October 13, and the air temperature dropped below zero.
According to the Bashkir Hydrometeorological Center, the air temperature in Ufa dropped to -1 degree Celsius, and in some areas of the republic it dropped to -4 degrees. Ground frost was observed in Belebey, Birsk, Yanaul, Kugarchi, Kaltasy and Miyakinsky districts of Bashkortostan.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Bashkortostan warns residents of the region about the dangers of hypothermia and urges them to dress warmly when going outside.
Drivers are also advised to be careful on the roads, as ice may have formed on some sections. The Ministry of Emergency Situations recommends that drivers reduce their speed and increase their distance from other vehicles.
