Heading Towards the Carolinas
Tropical storm Ian is moving off of Florida into the Atlantic and is expected to turn northwest and make landfall again in the Carolinas.
Ian made landfall in southwest Floridas Lee County after it strengthened into a brutal historic-sized Category 4 storm with top winds of 155 mph.
Tropical Storm Ian is leaving Florida on Thursday heading out over the Atlantic Ocean where it will regain some of the power it lost.
Ian is the fourth Atlantic hurricane of 2022 a season that only saw its first hurricane earlier this month.
